Challenge to Help
North Raleigh Ministries encourage schools,
businesses and civic organizations to recognize the needs of the hungry
within our own neighborhood. Our efforts are to alleviate suffering and
provide hope. In 2002 the poverty rate in Wake County was approximately
10% (US Bureau of Census). There are families whose breadwinner is out of
work, whose children are hungry, and they need us. Please find a way to
participate in the caring service being provided through NRM.
Donations can be mailed to
NRM or dropped off at any of the sponsoring
churches. Monetary donations can be designated "benevolence
account" (financial assistance for those experiencing a crisis)
or "operating account" (goes towards needs that keep NRM functioning such as utility bills, supplies, etc). If monetary
donations are not designated "benevolence" or
"operating" then they will be deposited into the operating fund.
If needed, operating account funds can be transferred to the benevolence
account. However, the benevolence account funds will not be
transferred to the operating account.
NRM is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations may be tax deductible!
