Charles is originally from Lynchburg VA and has lived in Raleigh for over 30 years. A graduate of The College of William and Mary, he retired in 2011 after 38 years in retail management, half in the non-profit sector. Charles is married with two children and four grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling the country in his RV. He has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity since 2001, NRM since 2011 and has served on the board of NRM since 2016.

Dick is a 1953 graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester MA with a degree in electrical engineering. After two years in the Army Chemical Corp Dick went to work for a major corporation holding various management positions in engineering, sales and marketing. He became a small business owner in 1984, retiring in 2010. He began volunteering with NRM in 2008 and previously served on the board from 2010 to 2016. He was a board adviser from 2017 to 2018 and rejoined the board in 2019. Dick and his wife are members of Grace Lutheran Church. They have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dick likes to read, play bridge and spend time with his wife of 61 years.
Liz is a driven business leader with more than 20 years of experience leading annual financial planning process with comprehensive analytical support for enhanced decision-making capabilities. She received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, AZ. Liz currently works with the Duke University Health System as an Accountant II/Financial Analyst.
Henry Knight is a retired Raleigh business owner of 40 years and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill. He and his wife, Gloria, are long-time Raleigh residents and have two children and four grandchildren. Henry has served as past president of Capital City Jaycees, NC & SC Chapter of National Distributors Association, Former Chairman of Wake County Board of Education, United Arts Council of Raleigh and Wake County, Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, Duke Raleigh Hospital Board of Advisors, and First Benefits Insurance Company, NC Retail Merchant Association. Additionally, Henry served on the boards of Duke University Healthcare System, Wake Technical Community College, Raleigh Little Theater, and the Alice Poe Center for Health Education. Henry is a member and Deacon of Bay Leaf Baptist Church and a long-time volunteer of NRM.
Rhonda grew up in Goldsboro, NC attending Madison Avenue Baptist where she was involved in church programs, especially missions and choirs. Her parents served as role models, passing down the desire to serve others and be active in the community. She graduated UNC Wilmington, with a BA in Elementary Education and concentration in middle school math. Rhonda retired from Wake County Schools after 30 years teaching. During her career, she taught in traditional school and helped open the first year-round magnet in North Raleigh. Rhonda is a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary sorority for outstanding educators and has served in all offices of leadership over the years. After retiring, she continued working for Human Resources as a mentor consultant for several years. Rhonda began volunteering with North Raleigh Ministries in 2009. She attends Trinity Baptist Church where she serves in many roles. She and her husband have two sons, and she recently became a grandmother to a very special grandson.
Alfred began his career as a Client Associate with Wachovia Securities in New York, developing his understanding of investment operations. He joined Wells Fargo Advisors as a part of the merger, in 2011 taking a team approach to providing operational, administrative, and assisting with personalized financial advice for individuals and families. Alfred moved in 2014 from Yonkers, NY to Durham, NC to better raise his daughter Jaelynn Noelle and be closer to his wife’s family. In May 2018, he became the first in his family to earn a graduate degree, achieving an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Regent University all while managing the practice for a team of Financial Advisors. In 2018, he transitioned to the Financial Advisor role.
Alfred spends his free time with his wife, Danielle, who is an administrative assistant at their local church, and their daughter. The family is active in the community through ministry and volunteering. Alfred has traveled to the Dominican Republic and Haiti on mission trips providing clean water filters to very impoverished families as well as helping to install a roof for an orphanage.
Rick is originally from Connecticut, where he received his degrees from UConn and taught English at Farmington (CT) High School. Switching careers, he worked as a computer programmer for ABB and later for Otis Elevator before moving to North Carolina in 1994. In 2016, Rick retired from the North Carolina Department of Correction where he had been the programmer responsible for the Inmate Banking System. Since retiring, he has volunteered at North Raleigh Ministries, Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen and Urban Ministries. Rick and his wife, Lydia, are active members of Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church where they have served as officers (Lydia – Elder; Rick – Deacon) and have served on committees (Missions, Facilities, etc.). They have additionally participated in disaster relief work and other local, national, and international mission activities with Saint Andrews.
